Vision and daring define leaders. Do special characteristics separate bold visionaries from enthusiastic dreamers? How does a leader motivate others? To what extent are leaders “born” or “made”? Explore these and other issues of leadership in this workshop designed to enhance leadership effectiveness.
Through the use of the novel The Godfather and selected business cases, the instructor guides you through the jungle of leadership do’s and don’ts and helps you improve your leadership skills and abilities. The pragmatic focus of this course relates theory to the “real world,” thoroughly integrating theoretical material with applications and illustrations.

Learn the basics of the American legal system and prepare for the first year of law school. Discover research databases, such as Lexis Advance, and see how to conduct thorough legal research. Use drafted research to argue basic motions throughout the course. Read and outline cases and take an issue-spotter exam. Visit federal court to observe hearings and a trial.
