Intersession Dates, Grades, and Refund Policy

Special Dates
InterSession classes have varying days and dates (outside of the traditional Summer Session calendar). Refer to individual class listings for specific meeting dates and times.

Last Day To Add
InterSession classes must be added before 4 p.m. on the last business day before the start of the class (some classes may have earlier deadlines).

Refund Policy

100% refund of tuition charges

80% refund of tuition charges

No refund of tuition charges/academic drops

NOT PAYING/NOT ATTENDING, does not drop you from an InterSession class. You must complete a drop online through CaneLink or have processed a Drop Form* in order to avoid tuition charges.

*Students who are not eligible to drop online through CaneLink must submit a completed Drop Form (signed by their advisor) for processing only at the Division of Continuing and International Education in Allen Hall.

Grades
Most official grades for InterSession classes will be provided at the end of the summer session in which they are offered (some classes, with follow up assignments, may have their official grade posted at a later date).

  • Official Grades for most Summer Session A May InterSession classes are released at the same time as regular Summer Session A classes (some classes may have later date to release grades depending on due dates of assignments).
  • Official Grades for most Summer Session B June InterSession classes are released at the same time as regular Summer Session B classes (some classes may have later date to release grades depending on due dates of assignments).
